Gracias a los recursos puestos a disposición por parte de la plateforme géomatique de la EHESS en París ha sido posible crear una nueva aplicación para visualizar los datos de HGIS-Indias:
No tiene todas las herramientas de antes. Faltan los mapas históricos georreferenciados y algunas capas de datos agregados, especialmente las demográficas. Sin embargo, la nueva aplicación es muy funcional para explorar los datos, identificar elementos (para navegar a la dokuwiki), etc.
Espero poder integrar más funciones con el tiempo!
Los datos actuales corresponden a la version 2023 de la base de datos. Dejo aquí el log de cambios:
Changes log 2022/2023:
General:
*Fixed a few geometry errors (one in Patagonia, one in Santo Domingo, one in Guatemala).
*Moved some places to better coordinates.
New Spain:
*Adjusted Nuevo Leon district boundaries to fit localized sites that can be linked to districts.
*Divided the base polygon Oxitlan in Oaxaca into Oxitlan and Tuxtepec, which might have had a different administrative history after all.
*Fixed boundary between Zapotlan and Sayula (San Sebastián and San Andrés).
*Fixed boundary between Ixmiquilpan and Huichapan.
*Fixed boundary between Mexicaltzinco and Lake Texcoco.
Guatemala:
*Adjusted boundary lines in Honduras (bad quality of source file).
*Added haciendas and puestos in Nuevo Leon.
*Added some sites in Tegucigalpa and Honduras.
*Added base polygons in Costa Rica to enable reconstruction of 17th century corregimientos, thereby also adjusting some boundaries.
Venezuela:
*Updated info on some Capuchin missions.
*Added some missed towns.
Nuevo Reino de Granada:
*Fixed boundaries in the Coyaima area.
*Fixed boundary between San Juan Girón and Tunja (sitio de La Mesa).
Quito:
*Fixed boundary between Quito and Quijos (Oyacachi).
Peru:
*Fixed boundary between Santa and Huaylas.
Charcas:
*Fixed boundary between Chucuito and Puno.
*Fixed boundary between Oruro and Sicasica.
Chile:
*Fixed boundary between Puchacai and Rere.
Río de la Plata:
*Added 16th and 17th century reductions and missions in Guayra/Paraguay, reviewed information for already covered missions in the area.
